Sketch Book
I begin my design journey with a sketch in my sketchbook, where I aim to capture the overall feel of the project. I jot down every idea that comes to mind, using pencil and pen, allowing my creativity to flow freely.
IPad
Once I have a collection of concepts, I transition to my tablet to select the designs that resonate with me the most. I refine these ideas in Procreate, creating photorealistic renderings. Occasionally, I also use Nomad, an additional app on my iPad that enables me to quickly translate my designs into 3D.
3D Printer
When the 3D model is finalized, I prepare it in Cura, ensuring it's ready for printing with my 3D printer. The 3D printing stage is the last step in my process. To create functional prototypes, I had to learn how to work with flexible materials such as TPU and TPE, which present their own unique challenges.
Music
Throughout this entire process, I enjoy listening to music, as it helps me concentrate and enhances my creative flow. My completed designs often serve as a source of inspiration, guiding me in the development of new ideas.
Laptop
Once I’m satisfied with the direction of the project, I move to my laptop to create the final 3D model using Rhino 3D. Sometimes, I incorporate Keyshot for realistic animations of the 3D models, adding another layer of detail to my work.
Shoes
The shoes I design embody the culmination of this creative process. Each pair reflects my passion for combining functionality with aesthetics, inspired by various elements from nature and culture. The journey from concept to finished product is what fuels my creativity and dedication as a designer.
